Chef Manny will grocery shop for your menu selections and arrive to your home or event location 90 minutes prior to the start time to prep and cook.
Chef Manny will serve the food and clean-up before leaving.
Shopping, labor, transportation (if applicable) and clean-up are included in final pricing.
Chef Manny is willing to travel anywhere you are! Please inquire about traveling services if needed.
Chef Manny will provide his own equipment (i.e., pots and pans). He asks that you have a working stove and oven. Also, if you would like him to prepare a meal that involves a grill, you will need to provide it. Storage containers will be provided for meal prep services.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the final amount is due after menu selections have been made for private events. The other half will be due 2 weeks before your event. Short notice events (2 weeks) will require full deposits after menu selections have been made. I will send out invoices to be paid online. Other deposits are due at booking and can be paid online. Likewise, full payment for services is required two weeks before the date of your service. If I am over budget on groceries, the difference is expected to be made up in your next payment. If your event runs over the agreed upon time, a $100 fee will be assessed per hour past the scheduled end time.
An itemized invoice will be issued to your email with the expected due date. You will be able to use the link provided to pay the invoice. Invoices must be paid on or before the due date.
Menu selections will be provided via email prior to your event date and are expected to be confirmed within 48 hours of receipt unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Please note that seasonality may affect food availability and prices. In case I am not able to find the required produce, changes will be made to the menu with your consultation and approval.
Except for emergencies and service adjustments, cancellations for cooking classes and meal prep services are expected 48 hours prior to your scheduled booking time. For private events, cancellations are expected 72 hours in advance. Late cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of your total amount due (less pre-paid deposits). Grocery money will be refunded if I have not yet purchased groceries on your behalf for the event being cancelled.
If I am unable to enter your home or event location via the agreed upon access method, I will call or text you for instructions. If I don’t hear back from you within 60 minutes or you are unable to grant me access, it will be considered a late cancellation and my stated cancellation policy will apply.
An additional travel fee will be charged if I have to drive more than a 50 mile radius. Travel fees for out of states bookings will also be billed accordingly.
For in house services, if your kitchen requires cleaning before I can cook, a $30 cleaning fee will be required and due at the conclusion of my services.
All gift cards have a one time use policy and expire after 3 months from the purchase date.
